Everyone jumps on the eco-friendly bandwagon to make their products more appealing. Legitimate efforts help the environment, absolutely. A recent article shows the widespread deception associated with green-washing at all price points. Irresponsible consumption habits are ravaging the planet.

In the beginning, a tree was cut down to make cardboard boxes and the accompanying literature. Nowadays, many manufacturers use recycled, recyclable, or compostable materials. While trees are saved, pollution and consumables have no end in sight. Recycling uses chemical treatments and myriad nasty things.

However, the packaging gets tossed out anyway. Even well-made cardboard boxes have limited lifespans. Maybe it's recycled and more resources are used, and so on. Consuming additional resources does not reduce the environmental footprint. Beyond the recycled packaging, what is the seller's overall environmental footprint? How sustainable are their businesses practices?

Think twice about what you purchase to ensure fairness to people, flora, and fauna alike. The world needs more champions, not destroyers. What you do here has consequences elsewhere because everything's connected.

Getting a $1,000 bracelet wrapped in tissue paper is not re-assuring.

My jewelry will last generations so it needs something equally as durable to protect and conserve it. The custom wooden presentation box is intimately part of it, a mini work of art. No landfills or recycling is necessary. It's the most eco-friendly, protective, and useful packaging over its lifespan. The pedigree scroll is so curiously intriguing that it, too, will endure.

It's simple and intuitive, too: You open the latch and there's your jewelry without endless layers and filler. Straight to the point. People equate fancy packaging with better performance or quality. Manufacturers exploit this curiosity. Mine is luxurious without pre-qualifiers or fluff.

I thoroughly research the impact associated with any process, material, or method. This is the best solution aside from handing it over in person without any packaging. That's impractical since orders get shipped across the globe. Getting a $1,000 bracelet wrapped in tissue paper is not re-assuring.

There's a fine balance between fashion and function. The former is generally wasteful but too many people equate value on insignificant fluff, like how many handouts or wrappings come with their new purchase. Be real!

Besides, the anticipation of what's inside is too priceless to pass up. It's gift-ready and will knock your socks off!
