True to its name, or a close spelling thereof, the edge is richly decorated in a gadroon pattern which radiates outward. It can be seen from the front and back. The teardrop shape tapers perfectly as the ornamentation fades into itself at the business end.

This is made from a piece of the past and may be in excess of 140 years old! Expect hallmarks, monograms, engravings, images, use marks, and more on them. The actual sterling silver hallmark may have been cut off during the process but many patterns can be identified with the included literature. They are eco-everything, fair trade, and conflict-free. Bent, shaped, sanded, and finished by hand, these are carefully crafted with attention to detail to ensure smooth lines and a proper fit.
